Just a few miles down the road from the Jensales HQ ten proud students showed up driving tractors to “tractor day” at the Alden-Conger School on Tuesday. They were featured in the fine local paper, the Alden Advance.
The students, who have been organizing it themselves for a few years, really enjoy driving their parents and even grandparents tractors into town.
This year’s ten tractors ranged anywhere from 1940 to 1968 model years and included John Deere, Minneapolis-Moline, Farmall, and Allis-Chalmers.
This photo on the 520 John Deere is Isaac Sorensen from Alden, MN.
This group photo with some of the involved students includes Jacob Songstad, Isaac Sorensen and Ryan Hansen. Songstad drove his tractor from his home, taking more than an hour to get into Alden, and said it was a great drive!
We have invited them all to drive on over to Manchester, hopefully one or two will make the trip. Anyone who drives a tractor to our place will get a free t-shirt and rag with their choice of brand imprint. We love to see our youth appreciate great American tractors!!
