ALLIS CHALMERS WD45 TRACTOR MANUALS AND PARTS
MANUALS | PARTS | DECALS
Released in 1953, the Allis Chalmers WD45 was the most powerful tractor for its size. Out of the 90,382 built, only 6,509 had the 6BD-230 diesel engine, which Allis Chalmers was able to procure after purchasing Buda Engine Company. While the WD45 boasted almost double the horsepower of the WD, this was not the only improvement. Allis Chalmers released their Snap-Coupler hitch, which true to its name allowed the user to attach an implement from the seat of the tractor, by simply backing the tractor back to the implement until they heard the "Snap" of the coupler. From there the lift links would be attached, and it was ready to roll. The WD45 was also the first tractor in the Allis Chalmers line to have power steering.
With so many innovations, there is no wonder why the Allis Chalmers WD45 is still a popular tractor to this day. Whether you are repairing, restoring, or improving, we have what you need.
